Please join me in supporting the families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Most NICU hospitalizations are long and difficult. Parents often are faced with anxiety, fear, confusion, hope, and stress as they navigate the complexities of having a newborn in an intensive care unit. While fighting for their child's life is their first priority, our NICU parents are attempting to sustain their employment, home, and world outside of the hospital. Please help alleviate some of that stress.
I am raising $10,000 to start a NICU Patient and Family Support Fund. The money raised will go directly to assisting NICU families with emergent needs including grocery gift cards, gas gift cards, small bills, emergency requests, funeral expenses, and other family needs.
The initial $11,000 goal is to cover the $10,000 needed to start a care fund, plus any fees associated with payments. This money will serve as the foundation for the fund, and ongoing fundraising will be done to sustain the account.
While we are blessed to have many community partners who provide generous donations, we need an additional safety net. Every donation has a direct impact. Thank you for investing in our families.
